I'1000 making a map where you lot play unremarkably, but equally a villager, the only problem is that while I was making it I had to kill several villagers, and now everytime I switch into survial mode, all the atomic number 26 golems assault me. I've tried killing them and just not having whatsoever, just the village I made is so big they keep spawning naturally and continue to attack me fifty-fifty though I haven't hurt whatsoever villagers recently. Is at that place anything I can do to end them from attacking? Preferably permanently.

Don't attack them in the offset place?
But seriously, this is unusual.. I'd advise only killing them all and building some new ones.

employ a command block and put in
/gamerule doMobSpawning faux
that volition keep all mobs from naturally spawning (spawn eggs still work)

If yous don't want to do that, you could break all the doors in the village and then supplant them. I call back that makes the game consider it a "new" village, and then information technology resets popularity.

If you do as the other post said, i.due east impale the existing golems then make some more yourself before they spawn naturally, the ones you make won't assail yous (unless u attack villages subsequently, then yr back to square one). I've had to do the same a few times in the village i augmented near me.
I think you could also kill the golems and all the villagers, then re-populate the hamlet using zombie villagers/golden apples/potions of weakness, only thats a fleck more tricky.

Actually its not unusual at all, whenever you assail a villager, kill a villager, attack an iron golem or kill an fe golem y'all lose popularity in the village, eventually to the point where the golems volition attack you.
The only way to increment your popularity is trading with the villagers from the trade in the final slot (the furthest to the right) until information technology is high plenty to cease the golems from attacking you, or you can practice what Tkpi said and destroy all the doors and look a few minutes (I believe its 5 minutes, simply I'd wait 10 minutes to be prophylactic) until the village is completely unregistered and so replace all the doors again.

Or empty out and wall off the 16x16 surface area at the center of the village. The center is the weighted average of all the door locations, and then you might desire to brand that a little bit bigger for the fudge factor...
Put a hole in that area and have water flowing into the hole and at present yous're working on an iron farm. Heh.

i: You don't need a command block, you can just blazon in the command manually (if you have cheats enabled, that is. If not, then I don't encounter how you are going to get a command block anyhow, since the just way to obtain it is through a command, "/give <actor name> 137" specifically.)
2: Neither villagers nor iron golems are afflicted past doMobSpawning. To make certain I'thou not only talking out my barrel, I merely tried it in a artistic test earth of mine that already has an iron-golem spawner setup. I set the gamerule to false, killed all of the villagers, killed the remaining golems in the drove chamber, double-checked to ensure that the rule was indeed set to false, and and then placed 2 villagers into each cell. By the time I had finished the fourth pod (sixteen pairs of villagers altogether) and went back to check on the first ones, they had already made a baby, and just a few minutes after I was rewarded with an iron golem in the chamber.
Yes, trading is the "official" way to increment your reputation in the village and get the golems off your dorsum. Specifically, trading with a villager for the last (right-well-nigh) offer in their listing, so closing the interface, increases your reputation by i point. For a total list of what affects your reputation and past how much, meet the diagram below. Merely eliminating the "village" and rebuilding it from scratch will practice it likewise. If you practise destroy all the doors, and then you don't have to expect, the village disappears almost immediately. The waiting is for if you kill the villagers or otherwise motion them out of range of the doors -- a door that has had no villager in range becomes unregistered after exactly sixty seconds. Just a door that is no longer at that place becomes unregistered immediately.
EDIT: You lot can as well just go far plenty away that the chunks become unloaded. When they are reloaded, the hamlet volition exist treated as a brand-new village. Note, this does non work if the hamlet is inside your earth's always-loaded spawn chunks (a roughly 12x12-chunk area around the world's initial spawn point.) These chunks are ever loaded, hence they never go un-loaded, and then they never get re-loaded, and thus the village never gets re-evaluated equally a new 1.

Oh, yes I see it checks and removes doors every single village tick, I'm thinking of them registering doors I believe. I was going off of retentiveness from watching the Atomic number 26 Trench video with the village reset mechanism.

Someone may have said this and I haven't seen seen cause I'1000 as well lazy to read it all but try killing everything similar villagers and golems and starting anew or perhaps copying everything in a Mcedit schematic and moving information technology to a new earth with the aforementioned seed (recreate)

I was breeding villagers in a found village, having golems all over to protect them during the nighttime, and I was getting attacked by golems occasionally because of me attacking the villagers.
Solution? Walk at least 130-140 blocks away from the edge of your village to unload the chunks, and then become dorsum. The golems/villagers' "aggro" kind of becomes reset.
You don't need to delete the world, kill golems or annihilation like that. Despite golems being pretty dangerous even in my example, it's easily a fixable result as well every bit non hard to just run abroad from the golems themselves if they're trying to kill you. It'south pretty awesome getting flung upward 10-fifteen blocks in the air by one, gotta admit.
Really hope the OP didn't delete their world or something else considering of the replies on this thread, lmao.

This is because of the villager'southward reputation.
If the reputation is very low - that means atomic number 26 golems will attack you, and villagers won't trade with you, while on the other mitt, if it's very high, the iron golems won't attack yous, and the villagers can trade with you lot as long as you don't hurt them.
As said by Grave: Walk at to the lowest degree 130-140 blocks away from the edge of your hamlet to unload the chunks, so go dorsum. The golems/villagers' "aggro" kind of becomes reset.

Lol some of these responses are terrible. Killing all the golems only gives y'all more infractions in the village and makes it worst. If you already killed villagers before manus this only adds to your points when you kill the golems. Pretty much the only choice you have is what Crumpet originally said. That is re-registering the village by taking all the doors down. Running abroad does non work if you already accept infractions because when you come up back they volition embark the killing again.
Long story short don't impale villagers and especially don't kill golems. Also to the person who said get some dogs.... record it and show u.s.a. what happens. The golem volition easily dispatch all of your dogs and come up later on you lol. I take lost so many dogs to the golems its non fifty-fifty funny. Accidentally hitting one with dogs around is a death penalty for your pooches.

If you want to kill villagers, for instance ones that have crap trades, yous can practise it remotely/indirectly e.1000 getting them to fall into a lava trap you lot've made. I do this in my hamlet which has ii traps, unfortunately the large trouble is getting the correct villager in the trap and on his ain. Still, i have killed off a few using this method.

Well, no, that's not the simply option. You could likewise, you know, really trade with the villagers and bring your reputation support legitimately, the way it was intended to work, like you're supposed to.
Also running away does work if the village is non in the world'southward e'er-loaded spawn chunks, and you lot run far plenty that it gets unloaded from retentivity. When you return and the village gets re-loaded, it will be seen by the game as a brand new village, and your reputation volition be reset to cipher.

I have ran abroad from villages simply to come dorsum and be slaughtered equally soon every bit I re-enter the village. So it may work running away only from my feel it didn't regardless of how far I went.
Trading with villagers in a village where the golem is psycho is next to impossible. Unless you spring into creative or merely happen to take the exact trades on yous its gonna be really difficult if not next to incommunicable without getting killed once more.

Whoa whoa whoa, people are getting too complicated. Villages keep data on each player ranging -thirty to +10. When the value falls below -xiv, the golem will always attack the player. It is lowered by i by hitting a villager, minus 2 for killing one, minus iii for attacking a babe villager, and minus 5 for killing the golem. But the piece of cake fix is to merely trade with the villagers. Every one trade is a +i to reputation in the village, so trade to avert assault! Hope this helps!
